Last minute addition to the line-up at Thunder. The CAF Dixiewing is sending their P-63 Kingcobra in addition to their Corsair and SBD that were previously announced.

EAA just announced the XP-82 Twin Mustang will NOT be ready in time too make Airventure. I was at the Swift National Fly-In today in Athens, TN when the CAF P-63A Kingcobra stopped in for a fuel stop on her way to Niagara. Per the Airventure site, Tom Reilly's XP-82 Twin Mustang could debut at Oshkosh! The aircraft is in its final stages of restoration. That would be an incredible addition to the show! Also saw on the Airventure site that a Boeing E-4 will be performing fly-bys. There isn't a ton I get overly excited...

Looks like bad weather will prevent the bombers from landing at the museum today but they're hoping to do flyovers and land when weather allows. Hopefully the event can go smoothly! My understanding is the concern was of standing water on the runway causing the planes not being able to depart Frida...
