Excellent! This years show must of been a blast!! Beats any of the Canadian shows that places safety margins a bit too extreme, 600m+ from the rwy seating to the rwy centerline at Abby for instance.. weak. I am so glad our RCAF represented very very well over there and a ton of brits must appreciate...

I miss the days when the B1B would do flyby demos and Air Canada would send in a heavy to do a few flybys as well. Of course the stuff in the 80's is a whole different story. I think I will pass on the cold lake airshow and do just 1 day of Abby and push for Portland!
It looks too good to miss and I'm sure more acts will still to follow including maybe an F22 or F35 appearance.
Not to mention the lighting is absolute prime from the viewing area and orientation.

^ It is just as I feared for FAB. I went and it was like 60 quid a person and it was for FAB Fridays or whatever that was called. It got cancelled half way thru thanks to some bad weather grounding the remainder of the action. The new rules will certainly kill the appeal of this on the flying scene....
