We have had planes from VX 4 I believe. A Tomcat and Super Hornet if I am not mistaken.

I know we had VFA-25 out of Lemoore before 2012. Can’t remember the year though or if they were here more than that one time.

CL 215 confirmed for static (although they are showing a CL 415) replacing the HC 144 which has cancelled because of operational duties.

F15 removed from static and app again, I’m fearing the worst.

Oh boy, I really hope that does not affect the NORAD demo. If Oregon pulled out, they will need to look at a different base to come here. They could always just be updating the site, but who knows.

It’s that time where cancellation start to occur, it happens every year and is exactly why the term tentative is extensively used.
Obviously the F-15s cancelling aren’t in the control of the Airshow Organizers as many of us understand. It’s not the first cancellation and probably won’t be the last. I hope the AIAS doesn’t get too much backlash from this cancellation but I’m sure someone will take time out of their day to try and accuse the hard working folks of putting on a “bad show” or something along those lines.
Let’s keep our fingers crossed for some more good news as there are still more statics to be announced. I know a lot of effort was put in trying to acquire a CC-177 for a demo. Although that may not happen, I’m still hoping we get an opportunity to see it on static.
On another note someone posted a screenshot of the Grandstand in the early stages of completion. I wish they they had left the seating just like that but the sides and back are completely covered with advertising boards and there’s no way you can see through it at certain angles.
I can see this being especially annoying during the Snowbirds and the Blue Angels low level passes. If you are someone that is planning on only getting general admission tickets, I’d suggest getting there early and finding a good place to view everything without it getting in your way too much.

Do you know if there’s an effort to get another F15 squadron to sub in?AirshowHawk wrote: ↑Sat Aug 04, 2018 6:05 am It’s that time where cancellation start to occur, it happens every year and is exactly why the term tentative is extensively used.
