This show has mostly the same performers year after year.
This year the USAF has supported it but Mike Wiskus year after year.I beieve Gord price was also there last year.I highy doubt there will be much added and with London the weekend after and already seeing the T-Birds in Niagara this is a pass for me.Not to mention there are very few viewing places to watch without paying (at the ex anyway)

The old side promoted the show as family friendly. That's a good reason for bad feelings, too.Zombiel3 wrote: ↑Sat Jun 23, 2018 2:15 pmI have a bad feeling about this.yyz64 wrote: ↑Fri Jun 22, 2018 3:38 am CIAS has a new website

Who wants to be disappointed? They added Christian Eagle, Long EZE and Giles 202. Still hoping for a Sea King or H-34.

At least it still says "More acts to come - Stay tuned"? Lol.
The official show website being moved from it's own website, to being lumped into as part of the CNE site, is definately concerning. While the show has always been apart of the CNE, it was always viewed as it's own special event that was a huge deal for the last 68 years. Now it gets that feeling that it's "just another event" during the annual CNE, and thus is lacking the exposure and excitement, that it once had.
The show has 2 jet teams this year, yet I feel zero promotion of the show is going on ever since it has moved to the new site. Not even any CIAS Insider e-mails about the show or teasing late "surprise acts", like in years past.
Hoping for a few late adds on the military side (probably RCAF aircraft).

I'm sure one of the stay tuned for more acts will be the super exciting Air Cadet glider being towed across the flight line.Nothing gets the crowd up on their feet like this one

Finally got a CIAS Insider e-mail.
They posted the line-up, which is the same as stated on the website minus the "more acts to come - stay tuned". Looks like this list is final.
Going to go to the waterfront to watch the Thunderbirds site survey (I assume it's Thursday, no TFR or NOTAMs issued as of yet for it). Also going to check out practice day. Less people, and I'll probably bug out once I see the T-Birds, CF-18 and F-35 lol. I might swing by Pearson as well, not sure as of yet.
Here's a pic of the schedule that was included in the e-mail:
