Sounds like Niagara will be getting good news about the Thunderbirds next week! Also info about VIP ticket sales, website update and hyping up the F-22 demo.

Here is the link to all that juicy info:

Airshow website is updated with performers and statics.

If they get it all it is a very impressive static display

Nice to see the web page updated. Nice looking static list, as mentioned. I expect it to be fluid from now until show weekend, but so far, very impressive. One thing that is omitted on the performers/show schedule list is the Warrior Flight Team, which had Niagara on their schedule that was posted on Facebook. I'll see if I can get an answer for that soon.

In the mean time, I will post the static list on the first post here, and will keep it updated with any changes.

Correct. The show in Gimli, MB cancelled, so the CF-18 is indeed free that weekend. Not sure how interested they would be or if they have the time to fit it in, but It would be the cherry on top of a stellar line up!

As is well documented, the Thunderbirds are back and are resuming their schedule starting this weekend at Langely AFB. Just received the insider e-mail stating this news and that they are a go for Niagara. Very glad to see the team back, after such a trying and difficult time.

On another note, the B-1B was dropped on the static list, however the B-17 "Memphis Belle" was added. I expect this list to change up until the show weekend. I'll try to keep this list up to date on the first post of this topic.

I just noticed on the security restrictions page of the website there are limitations on the lens size.

"Excessively large items and bags (the only exceptions are diaper bags, small purses, and small camera bags at or below 21 inches long, 10 inches wide, 10 inches deep). Large camera bags, tripods and large lenses are not allowed, especially in the VIP seating areas."

I have emailed them to clarify what a large lens would be. I hope a 150-600mm Sigma doesn't fall under that definition.

Anyone else have any ideas if a lens like the Sigma would cause any issues getting in?

Not quite sure about your lens issue (if it was a prime, I could see it being a big problem lol). I would suggest relaying your question to their Facebook page, as they seem very responsive, and you might get a response quicker, then by e-mail perhaps, especially if you want an answer quickly. But that's just my opinion. Let us know what they say, so others here can also know what to bring/not bring!
