Looks like the prowler will be on Static display along with the traditional Marine statics

I received email conformation today from the PAO that the Prowler(s) will fly in the MAGTF demo. Sounds like I need to make this trip happen now!

That’s kinda surprising tbh. Prowlers haven’t flown as a part of MAGTF for quite a few years now (I want to say 2010 is the last I saw it in person). Anyway, sounds great! One more birthday present for me

Great night of flying. Lots of pyro and fireworks, and a few afterburners to go with it. There was a pretty high wind tonight, the Black Daggers ended up jumping from way behind the crowd. Blue Angels have 2 two-seaters in the line up. Guess they're still recovering from Vero/Myrtle Beach. AeroShell had an issue with the #3 on takeoff, but he recovered and rejoined for the show. Bill Leff announced that he is retiring at the end of this year. The Vampire had a new paint scheme, or at least one I haven't seen before: desert camo. All of the other night displays were stunning as usual. Can't wait to see the Snowbirds in person for the first time!

Beautiful day, wasn't expecting that. High cloud on over kept the area relatively cool. One of the best shows I've seen in a long time. In terms of taking video, it was one if the worst. I had so many technical problems. Batteries. Memory cards. Sensors. Everything. Failed. But on the bright side, I got to relax and enjoy the show. It's rare that I'm not watching performers through an LCD screen.
Snowbirds were the only performance I completely captured. Spectacular high show with a 5+4 take off which is rare apparently. F-35B backup Demo jet was painted. Wish I could have filmed it flying.
*Sigh*, the Blue Angels...idk what happened. I think BOSS had a problem. They had to break it off after the Fortus. Weather was perfect, too. What an unfortunate scrub. This marks their third consecutive week with aircraft problems. This is not going to look good for them or for the F/A-18. *update: they're back in the air with #3 in the backup jet and BOSS in #3's jet.
Expect rain tomorrow, show will probably start late.

I’m probably calling off tomorrow. Looks like heavy rain until 1-2ish. I’ll be surprised if the shows gets half in unfortunately. I’m hanging around the area in the event of a miracle but I’m doubting it.
