2018 MCAS Cherry Point Air Show
Here is the Harrier Demo. Notice how low he gets with the gear up during part 2 of the demo. He's below the treeline!

Very impressed by the Marine F-35. At least they got to open it up a bit.

My favorite!
One tip for you. If you can (not sure how your camera works), set it to manual focus at/near infinity. I use a far away tree line. That way it won't start hunting back and forth when you zoom out.

Thanks for the tip, I found out how to do manual focus on my camera. I have kept it on its sport shooting mode which in general keeps it at long range, but if the object isn’t centered in the frame, it starts focusing in and out for it. It doesn’t help that I shake a lot.

Here’s my pictures I took on Saturday at the show.

Last videos from me. Both of Bill Leff. Bill has been flying air shows for 32 years. He has flown mainly AT-6 Texan aircraft, and is famous for his Starfire Night Skyshow routine. 2018 will be his last year flying air shows. I will definitely miss seeing his performance. While it may not be the most exciting, it is certainly one of the most inspirational. Unfortunately, I don't have the rest of his schedule for 2018. He is a regular at Oceana, but it looks like he will not be there this year.
