2019 Cheraw Air Show, April 13

I’ve seen this show on two performers’ schedules, but haven’t seen much info outside of that until now. The show finally has a Facebook page, and a respectable list of performers so far. Can’t believe they got the military involved. Cheraw, SC. Saturday only, April 13.

Also, they are confirming details, but it looks like a DC-3 will be selling rides as well.

New performer: it appears to be Barry Avent’s FG-1D. Not the Corsair I was expecting, but...

Weather is looking pretty bad. Chance of thunderstorms in the afternoon. Gonna play it by ear, but may not be going after all.

Eh I’m still going. It was supposed to rain everyday at sun n fun but it didn’t except for one day late morning lol. I take weather prep in my camera bag.

Decided to go at 7 am this morning. Drove through hours of rain. Worth it.
Many aircraft didn't make it due to the weather. Otherwise, things went on as expected. Mark Henley was in Rammer Jammer instead of Lady B. Also, since he flew the Stang to Cheraw, he had to borrow a T-6 for the AeroShell flight. Rare change up. My favorite moment was when I got there, I got to watch the DC-3 take off from the end of the runway. The action was non stop, so my camera was pretty much on the whole time.
