In the UK and Europe at least, Biggin Hill is one of the most famous airshow venues anywhere. For over 40 years it was home to the International Air Fair until 2010. In 2014, airshows at the former Battle of Britain Sector Station were revived with the Festival of Flight. This is a smaller event than the Air Fair but retains much of the spirit and variety of the old events. Biggin Hill's wartime Heritage is always an important part of the flying displays but the Festival also always includes contributions from military and civilian acts. This year the undoubted stars were the Ultimate Fighters four-ship and the Breitling Jet Team. A full review with more images can be found HERE.
