The annual Clacton Airshow opens the August Bank Holiday for the Essex resort. Held over the Thursday and Friday it is a smaller show than the likes of Eastbourne and Bournemouth but still attracts a healthy crowd nearing 250,000 over two days. The relatively compact display site means there are a variety of viewing opportunities with Clacton Pier being very popular with enthusiasts. The event also hosts an evening flying display on the Thursday featuring parachutists, the FireFlies plus OTTO. A full review and further imagery can be found HERE.
