According to the show site, looks like the Legacy Flight has been updated to now include a Wildcat after the Corsair incident.

Looks like it'll be Cavanaugh's FM-2. Hope to see some good pictures, that plane doesn't get out too often!

Major props to Cavanaugh this year, they are playing a huge part in getting their birds in Heritage and Legacy flights, especially when someone has to drop out (Sun 'N Fun, Dayton).

The "alternate parking plan" will be in effect this weekend due to wet ground in the parking fields.

Yeah, the weather isn't looking too promising, however, the forecast is calling for scattered rain, so it may or may not be a problem..

Look forward to going to this show, and hopefully Oshkosh again!

Thanks,
Andrew

Reports coming in that a small plane that’s part of the air show had to make an emergency landing near Dayton airport. Sounds like it is Skip Stewart. Initial reports indicate it was an engine failure and he had to set it down, but sounds as though he is ok. Needless to say he won’t be performing.

The weather seems to be improving for Saturday:

"Saturday: It will be partly to mostly cloudy, warm and humid with the chance of a few evening showers, mainly to the west. Highs will be in the upper 70s. A greater risk for showers and storms will develop Saturday night."
