The Red Arrows have teamed up with BBC Radio Lincolnshire and will be producing a weekly podcast about their tour to the UK and Canada. It is available on the BBC Sounds App or from the link below:

They have arrived in Gatineau for tomorrows show & fly over of Downtown Ottawa. Weather will co operate according to the evening news forecast. My cameras are ready & I have my ticket already to go.

My photo album is now on line and I have to admit to being quite lucky when it came to the crossovers. I had watched a video of their 2019 performance at RIAT trying to get a feel for the routing & to know which plane to pan with on the crossovers. Unfortunately the video wasn't clear enough to see which plane was closest to the camera so I just guessed which one to follow. Also note that a lot of the flying is well away from the spectators so atmospheric haze plus airborne smoke softens some images. Also note I'm simply a part of the spectator area which works just fine for me. I do not buy a pit pass or whatever they call it to get better photos. I arrive early enough to get in when the gates open & I immediately head to the fence line where I shoot from.
