Restrictions lifted on classic jets
Restrictions lifted on classic jets
Just out from the UK CAA today - straight-wing ex-military jets will once again be permitted to fly aerobatics from Feb 28th. This is huge news as aerobatics have been banned ever since the Shoreham crash in August 2015, since when the UK classic jet circuit has shrunk exponentially. Restrictions will remain in place for swept-wing aircraft for the time being. There's no denying that this is huge for the European airshow scene.
