VWOC Spitfire Restoration

Post by RyanS » Fri Feb 24, 2017 8:08 pm

I just came across this interesting article on a Vintage Wings of Canada Spitfire that is being restored. It is expected to fly by the end of the summer!

I'm in their part of the world & follow their FB page. I'm wondering if they may bring it out for static photos or maybe even fly it at Wings over Gatineau on April 30. I did a bit of a photo tour of the hangar while waiting for VeRA to arrive back from the trip it made to the UK. That aircraft is special to me because it was based in Greenwood when my family was stationed there. They have a very dedicated bunch of restorers.
