Flying cars are coming. Maybe not tomorrow, but in a decade or so.

Autonomous flight. What do you think of this design? Are you looking forward to travelling city to city in aircraft like this?

I'm excited for autonomous cars. Not having to drive long road trips will be awesome.

Flying cars are terrifying. Too many things to go wrong and too many variables like obstacles in a landing zone to be sorted out. I have zero interest in leaving the ground in something like that

There are a lot of obstacles to overcome and public trust is one of them but there are dozens of companies pouring money into the research now.

People mistrusted conventional aircraft at first and many still see private flying as reckless but the majority accept it as normal, even though the press sensationalise the rare accidents.
