Sugden's FJ-4 Fury, the only one flying in the world, was belly landed earlier today in Richfield, Utah. The aircraft appears moderately damaged but repairable. I have not seen any comments about the pilot or their condition, which is a good sign. The Fury and the accompanying MiG were scheduled to perform at Nellis this weekend.
Sadly this aircraft has a history of being damaged. I witnessed it roll off the end of the runway at Oshkosh (the same day as the F-16 roll off). It also belly landed in 2008.
