An F-35C fired an external AIM-9X Sidewinder missile while in inverted flight as a test for negative G performance. This F-35 is the U.S. Navy's carrier variant of the fighter, which is now evidently testing its weapon systems. This capability isn't particularly groundbreaking, I just thought it was interesting. I wonder if it'll be able to firve from the internal bays inverted. I believe the raptor can, correct?
