MiG-29 Crash on Takeoff, Belarus

New footage of a Belarusian MiG-29 Fulcrum crashing on takeoff has just surfaced on the internet. The crash actually occurred on February 23 of this year, but the footage is just now being uploaded. The video shows the jet bursting into flames on the runway. It would appear that the pilot pulled the gear up prematurely, causing the jet to collapse on the runway. The pilot ejected several seconds after the initial impact, and the jet skidded all the way down the runway and into the trees, leaving a trail of destruction in its wake. Let this be a lesson to all aspiring pilots: WAIT FOR POSITIVE RATE BEFORE PULLING THE GEAR UP!
