F-16 Fighting Falcon Down In AZ

An F-16 has gone down in Arizona, but there are few details right now.

SAFFORD, Ariz - An F-16 Fighting Falcon based out of the Arizona Air National Guard's 162nd Wing crashed approximately 20 miles northwest of Safford, Arizona Tuesday at 3 p.m.

According to the Office of Public Affairs, rescue efforts are underway. The status of the pilot is unknown.

Just found this: the F-16 was actually not from the 162th Wing, but was from the Iraqi Air Force, and it was training with the 162th. The student pilot did not survive.
