A Russian Kamov KA-52 attack helicopter mistakenly fired rockets on unsuspecting civilians during a training mission known as the 2017 Zapad war games. Some spectators, presumably journalists, were in a dirt parking lot observing the helicopters practicing when one of the aircraft suddenly fired two rockets into the lot. The explosion damaged vehicles and injured two people, who were taken to the hospital. According to media sources, a glitch caused the helicopter to acquire a fictional target and launch two unguided rockets at it. Pretty horrifying!
Two links with videos shot by the spectators, and another video from the cockpit of the KA-50. The pilot jerked back on the stick after realizing what had just happened.

I saw the original video circulating, and wow. Pretty incredible footage!
In the onboard video you can see the target reticle flashing between two targets, and ending up on the wrong one
