Post by awal2049 » Wed Jun 06, 2018 12:15 am

An F-16 from the Taiwanese Air Force crashed during the start of its annual drills to simulate a Chinese attack on the country. The crash was reported about two hours after the F-16 disappeared from radar. The wreckage was discovered by a civilian hiking in the mountains near Taipei. The pilot, Maj. Wu Yen-Ting, was killed in the crash. All F-16s owned by Taiwan have been temporarily grounded while the investigation takes place.
