A civilian owned Mark 58 Hawker Hunter crashed off the coast of Hawaii. The Hunter was owned by ATAC (Airborne Tactical Advantage Company), a civilian contractor company that provides adversary aircraft for military training. It was participating in an exercise called "Sentry Aloha." The pilot declared an emergency and ejected at low altitude before the jet crashed. He has sustained minor injuries as a result.

Who the hell is training to fight Hawker Hunters anyways? A task force that's preparing to jump to 1958 through a wormhole? Hell, even the most backwards countries such as Zimbabwe or Laos will have a couple vastly superior (well, superior to the Hunter, that is) MiG-21Bis in their air forces.
But in any case, the most important thing is that the pilot's safe.
