Looks like there's a chance for me to get this one. I'll be in Orlando for work from the 11th - 18th and if I get clearance to head down on the 9th, I will be attending. Any advice on the best place to sit to be close to start-ups and get good taxi photos?

I will miss seeing vintage jets there this year, since it looks like the Sabre, Skyhawk and T-33 will not be flying. And most likely an F-104 from the Kennedy Space Center will not make it over either, would be nice to see them back again.

But hopefully Cavanaugh will be bringing an A-1 Skyraider to the show - always nice to see!

According to the Cavanaugh Flight Museum airshow schedule, they are bringing the AD-6 Skyraider to the show. Their site doesn't mention the B-25. Whichever it is, always good to have warbirds. I've got approval to use a personal day to travel down early before working in Orlando for the week, so it looks like I'll be able to head over. Looking forward to breaking up the monotony of winter in the midwest with some warbird noise!

Hi Matt glad your interested in the show! The best place to sit is anywhere along taxiway B facing show center north as the majority of the performers will be taxiing right by the crowd line with in several feet. The warbird flightline runs adjacent to the taxiway although there's a low fence line that is the best place to catch any start up's of the warbirds. Here's some video from last year:
Modern military will now be placed over on the ramp south of the crowd line in order to catch their startup sequences you'll have to have your back turned to show center.
