What year was a full show cancelled? I honestly doubt that ever happened. Also if anything the performers will to a low show but it won't be cancelled this weekend.

Better question...what year was your first airshow in Abbotsford?
cf18hornet -Thank you Mark for posting the Super Hornet arrival today so we can see with our own eyes the challenging conditions. As you know we have had to endure some bad weather years at Abbotsford but this smoke will be a first.

Nice video of the Super Hornet arrival - not surprised that the smoke looks as bad, if not worse, than it does out here in Vancouver. Won't have too much of an effect on arrivals day tomorrow - although it may discourage passes being made before landing. Could affect practice, but I suspect it'll only change those to low show preparation. Low shows seem likely for the weekend.

Any idea in regards to what will be involved in the mini airshow? I will be in the terminal parking lot all say tomorrow, silver accord. Come say hi. Can't do Huntington anymore due to kids coming, pretty dangerous on that road. Anyways I'm stoked for tomorrow, never missed any show in 35 years . I'm like a kid on Xmas eve .

I remember a rain out when the Soviets were here . Never got to see the mig 31 that year

The Russians still flew on the Sunday.
Regardless, Jedi asked about weather conditions and what would happen today or tomorrow and was provided an answer. There is no need to try and make sarcastic remarks towards someone who is trying to help answer your question.
The only year the show hasn't gone on was 1998 and that was due to unrelated budget constraints. Feel free to mention a year that an entire day was cancelled and I'll understand your hostility.
Tomorrow will be a very busy day so I recommend you folks come out around 11am! Expect Snowbirds, CF-18s, F-16s and whatever else was mentioned by Bingonfuel. From what I've been told, RNLAF F-35s eta is 2pm.

Sarcastic remark? Referring to what exactly? Just remarking on a memory I had that year . Not sure where the sarcastic remark came to be . My dad took me on the rain out day , all I was stating . Anyways hope everyone enjoys the day. I know I will .
