Regardless, Jedi asked about weather conditions and what would happen today or tomorrow and was provided an answer. There is no need to try and make sarcastic remarks towards someone who is trying to help answer your question.

The only year the show hasn't gone on was 1998 and that was due to unrelated budget constraints. Feel free to mention a year that an entire day was cancelled and I'll understand your hostility.

Tomorrow will be a very busy day so I recommend you folks come out around 11am! Expect Snowbirds, CF-18s, F-16s and whatever else was mentioned by Bingonfuel. From what I've been told, RNLAF F-35s eta is 2pm.

Sarcastic remark? Referring to what exactly? Just remarking on a memory I had that year . Not sure where the sarcastic remark came to be . My dad took me on the rain out day , all I was stating . Anyways hope everyone enjoys the day. I know I will .
Lancer: I don't believe AirshowHawk was referring to you. Most likely, it was Jedi's comment towards airshowdude regarding a "better question" and what year was his first airshow. I thought Jedi's comment was childish and didn't reflect someone who's allegedly been attending since the 70s.

I, too, recall a very rainy year with the Russians here. Looking forward to tomorrow; will try to wander by the parking lot at some point to say hello.

Can't do Huntington anymore due to kids coming, pretty dangerous on that road. Anyways I'm stoked for tomorrow, never missed any show in 35 years . I'm like a kid on Xmas eve .
It-is always the Snowbirds, Skyhawks, CF-18, and a couple other acts.

My apologies Lancer, I was definitely not referring to you.

Frenetic Enigma, thank you for clearing that up for me.

I mean no disrespect to you Jedi, but I feel that you came off on a few members here quite aggressively. I understand you are new here and I would like to be one of the first to welcome you to the board. Let's keep the hostility out as it does not belong on a forum like this! We are all aviation fans in the end with the same passion.

On a side note, this year gives true definition to last years "Fightertown" description. :)

I would get out there earlier for the RNLAF F-35's. Scheduled for 11:15

Edit: only one showed up

Overall, pretty good arrivals day. Highlights were definitely multiple passes by the USAF F-35s, two very good passes by the F-16 demo team, and some impressive touch-n-gos by the CF-18s.
As mentioned, only one Dutch F-35 arrived, and only looped the field once and promptly landed. The F-15s did not arrive today.

Disappointing that there were no demos/practices during the day. The Super Hornet went up in the early evening, but only did a few practice passes (looked like he was sorting out showlines and/or smoke visibility). CF-18 demo went up last thing (around 7:30) and put on an impressive performance.

A good day for sure. Oregon F-15's are expected tomorrow mid afternoon from what I've been told. Expect majority of Canadian arrivals between 10am - 2 (CC-177, Polaris, NORAD CF-18s, CT-155s and Harvard II's). Snowbirds practice will be pretty early. Also expect a Viper demo practice sometime around noon along with a practice from the Super Hornet.

I believe the Superhornet team did the few passes today specifically for media and the Ronald McDonald House mini-airshow.

Seemed like the ceiling at the airport was great today towards the end of the Jet Gliders practice. I got my first glimpse of blue skies in days. Strangely the good visibility/ceiling appeared to be only around the airfield. Kinda neat!

Sorry for the late post, I find myself taking advantage of the Craft Beer Festival a little early this year.
