2017 Joint Base Andrews Airshow

B-2 flew away early Saturday morning. I saw it take off at about 10AM on Saturday and then make 3 passes. It was supposed to be on static display.

Super Guppy was not there.

T-50 demo was nice. F-22 demo was great.

My first time at Andrews, must say I will try to make it back again.


Nothing like hearing the UH1's do a flyby while Wagner's "Ride of the Valkyries" is playing on the loudspeakers

Here's my set from the Andrews AFB air show which was a great event, some really cool surprises on the day made for an excellent show. These included an impromptu show from a B-2 & Lockheed T-50 & a departure from an AC-130J which I'd never seen before. Just a shame the first half of the show was backlit really with the sun moving round in the afternoon but cloud cover increasing.
