Vintage Aircraft Weekend (Historic Flight Foundation) - Sept. 2

I thought I'd share a few of my photos from the Vintage Aircraft Weekend event held at the Historic Flight Foundation on the Labour Day weekend. Many warbird and vintage aircraft took to the skies during the day. Very enjoyable event!

Here are a few of a great low pass by John Sessions in the HFF P-51B Mustang with Mt. Rainier as a backdrop.

A second P-51 was in attendance, this one from the Heritage Flight Museum.

Czechoslovakian Super Aero 45 leads a formation with a Harvard MkIV and a T-6 Texan

I was just in that area a month ago. Oh how I wish for a Mt. Rainier backdrop to shoot!

Yes it's a great backdrop...even better at the shows they put on at McChord AFB (now JBLM). Mt. Baker at Abbotsford is pretty fabulous as well.

Excellent shots, Chris! Looks like it was another stunning time at HFF's VAW. Makes me wish I could go back a few weekends and see it myself.
