Join EAA Vintage Aircraft Association (VAA) on the first day of EAA AirVenture Oshkosh, Monday, July 24th, for two special events taking place in Vintage Village!

Come to the EAA Vintage Hangar for Morning Coffee with Vintage at 8:00 a.m. with complimentary coffee and donuts fresh from Tall Pines Café starting at 7:30 a.m. Presented by VAA President Susan Dusenbury and the Vintage Aircraft Association Board of Directors, you'll learn about recent activities of the association, current plans, and goals for the future. Input is encouraged and welcomed!

Immediately following at 9:00 a.m., join them at the future site of the Vintage Aircraft Association Youth Center for our groundbreaking ceremony! It is located just southwest of the Vintage Hangar across the service road, the Youth Center (pictured below) will host workshops and events for young airplane enthusiasts starting in 2024. Youth ages 8 - 18 are especially encouraged to attend! S

The Yankee Air Museum recently underwent inspection and passed the FAA's airworthiness directive Docket No. FAA–2023–1048 for their 1945 Boeing B-17G Yankee Lady (N3193G). With that amazing news, it has resumed touring on their Air Adventures Tour and will be giving rides during EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2023. https://www.federalregister.gov/documen ... -airplanes

Looks like they've posted some of the airshow performers for each day on the EAA app!

I greatly appreciate the information that's been posted to date; it doesn't seem (to me) that EAA's website provides as much information as in the past.

Maybe I'm navigating poorly, but does the EAA website even mention the Super Guppy? And, if you gouge is correct, I need to be in OSH on or before Wednesday to see it. And, if past experience is a guide, we can expect the Super Guppy will be towed out of Boeing Plaza sometime on Wednesday afternoon.

As I said, I'm grateful for the info provided to date.

Kermit Weeks' 1944 Douglas A-26B Pistol Packin' Princess (N39401) still needs to fly a bit more and needs a few issues fixed to where he's comfortable with the final results. So, the aircraft will not be coming to EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2023. The aircraft is currently located at Aero Trader in Chino, California.

This part definitely caught my attention (for Saturday Night's Air Show) "We will have a special performance by a group of MiGs (MiG-17/23/29)"
