A couple of questions. What time do most aircraft arrive on the Sunday before the show? Is it worth it to go see the arrivals that day? Do you need a ticket to get in for just Sunday? Thanks!

Arrivals are all throughout the day, the airport opens at like 7am or 8am and closes at 8pm. If the weather is good it will be nonstop traffic all day with special arrivals (military etc.) sprinkled in randomly. I think it is maybe the most fun day because there is nothing else to worry about missing, just airplane after airplane. If you are in the area I definitely recommend it.

They do charge admission Sunday but it is combined with Monday admission. So if you already have a Monday admission band (or a weekly band) you just use that wristband for Sunday also.

Does anyone have a day by day breakdown of when cool stuff is supposed to arrive? I have been trying to put a list together so I know what to look for each day but the info is so scattered

Combining the fact that Thunderbird will be there and the Corsair highlight, it would have been really cool if the Super Corsair could have made it as well.

Curious what you mean about the, Thunderbird, will be there? Did you mean the Thunderbirds are flying over? They do have an airshow in SD the weekend of Airventure. I’m curious if they will make an appearance like they did a few years ago on Thursday or Friday.

Referring to the Dakota Territory Air Museum's freshly restored P-51C "Thunderbird".
