Combining the fact that Thunderbird will be there and the Corsair highlight, it would have been really cool if the Super Corsair could have made it as well.

Curious what you mean about the, Thunderbird, will be there? Did you mean the Thunderbirds are flying over? They do have an airshow in SD the weekend of Airventure. I’m curious if they will make an appearance like they did a few years ago on Thursday or Friday.

Yankee Air Museum's 1945 Boeing B-17G Yankee Lady (N3193G) is back in the air for the first time since July 09, 2023. It was stuck at the Muskegon County Airport in Muskegon, MIchigan with a blown engine. It was at this airport giving rides during the Wings Over Muskegon Air Show 2023. The Yankee Air Museum's crew and volunteers have worked day and night on Yankee Lady to get her airworthy again!

Update: The airplane is now back home at the Willow Run Airport in Ypsilanti, Michigan.

Spoke with Randy Ball earlier about the Mig flight on Saturday night. Him and Rook Isaacman (Mig 29) are going to be doing some 2 ship formation passes. Dan Filer (Mig 23) isn't formation rated yet so he'll just be doing solo passes.

Hey all,

Little information from the Growler Team and West Coast Rhino Team was messaging them on Instagram. Growler Demo is arriving Monday and flying Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday. I did ask about Wednesday night Demo in the twilight show. I will let you all know when I hear back. Then they will be departing Friday and another Navy Team is taking over. I’m assuming the F35C Demo Team for the Legacy flights.

West Coast Rhino isn’t sure what days they are flying but they are arriving Wednesday mid day. Trying to find out if they are bringing the Color Bird with them.

At about 7:50 PM on July 22nd, the Fond du Lac County Dispatch Center received a call from a person that saw a plane go down and heard a crash near the area of 49 and Hemp Road. The Alto Fire Department, Lifestar EMS and Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Officers responded to the scene.

Word on the street is that the military teams want to fly more but EAA is limiting their participation. But thank god we get two Stearman aerobatic demos on the same day!

I was very surprised to see the grounds so full this morning when I arrived. It is definitely following the trend of people getting to Oshkosh earlier each year and then also leaving earlier.

Traffic was relatively light before a storm moved in around 2pm. I left so didn't see any arrivals after that point.

Unfortunately it sounds like they will be leaving Friday!

Did hear back from the West Coast Rhino Demo, and they are bringing the CAG color Bird for the demos!!
