JBSA's "The Great Texas Air Show" 2024

I'm headed to the airport right now to fly down, but given the cloud forecast we changed our plans to fly back home Sunday in hopes of seeing the eclipse, so I'll only be at the show Saturday and possibly a quick stop in Sunday morning to wander around

Yes, same for ne too. First time attending this particular air show. It's the Eclipse that brought me down here, a two for one, hopefully, if the weather cooperates for the Eclipse.

I'm planning to attend the Saturday air show...depending on weather.

Any reports on Friday's (4/5) JBSA air show?

Was the performers per the schedule they posted or was there other performers?

Trying to decide which day to attend, Saturday or Sunday,

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sampling of todays festivities. Schedule was whacky but there was stuff I don't think was posted it felt like. Also, you won't want to miss the CSAR. A-10s and F-15s and a Blackhawk. Maybe F-16s but I did not see them today.

Announcer has already stated that the airshow is in a delay due to the clouds, but they should clear around noon.

Now 1pm for flying. Static area wasn’t as expansive as I expected it to be so we got through that pretty quick. Also no Official Thunderbirds merch tents like I’ve seen at other shows.
