Look at your six, It's me!!!
One of the better lineups on the Eastern side of North America right now. Excited to see how this shapes up.

Looking for some help about catching arrivals at the Airport for the show.
Does anyone have previous experience spotting arrivals and whether or not it’s accessible Thursday/Friday?

I have photographed there several times. Rt 17k goes past the end of runway 27. The problem is that it is backlit most of the day. Also the cops usually chase people from parking along that road as it is pretty busy. There are several side streets to park on though. Good news is that in the past anyway, the airshow posted arrival times for the display aircraft.

Based off of Google Maps and looking around the area, the road network doesn't look optimal for close quarter photos. How's the viewing from the road network around there? Or is Maps misleading me?cobra21 wrote: ↑Mon Apr 29, 2019 1:53 am I have photographed there several times. Rt 17k goes past the end of runway 27. The problem is that it is backlit most of the day. Except for the spot along 17k, which is nice except for the sun situation, I don't think there are many other good options. I think at the other end of that runway, you are below the runway, and there isn't many spots to park. Every time I've been there, they have been on 27.
I live in PA, so maybe a someone from NY can answer this, but I think NY has a law against scanners in cars.
Here is a shot from 2015 arrivals. My first try at attachments, so I hope all goes well!I live in PA, so maybe a someone from NY can answer this, but I think NY has a law against scanners in cars.

There is a small lot on site past the terminal where I took this shot, but was chased from there shortly after.
