I vaguely remember hearing something about this date changing. Any update on that?

The website has been updated, it looks Matt Younkin will be there in the Beech 18 (his schedule says day an night show  ). There is also a picture I think of Gene Soucy, but I can't say for certain. It looks like it will be a much bigger air show this year.

According to the website, there will be a night airshow on Friday. I'm hoping that if aerobatics have to be a part of the airshow Saturday, they are restricted to warbird and vintage types (like Matt Younkin). There are more than enough airshows around with a plethora of Extra 300s and Pitts. I'd hate to see this event lose what makes it unique and become another one of those.

Paul Keppeler's F-86 and Jeff Kaney's MiG-17 will both be there again as well.

Surprised it hasn't been posted here, but they're now advertising a car show from like 4pm to 7pm Friday.

I don't know if this will curtail flights during that time (ie if the cars will be on the ramp or in the parking lot) but that and the night show are making me reconsider going at all. The whole point was that it was a laid back event with easy access to planes and pilots, and Saturday last year was the perfect illustration of how frustrating it can get once the public controls are put into place. The Friday sunset time has been the highlight of the weekend each time, and now it's in jeopardy too. I guess I'll wait and see what takes shape as it gets closer.

I've never done the Friday night thing, but this event does become less interesting if it is made more formal and has more controls in place. Last year was still ok even with all the crowd controls but that was mostly because I ended up in a good place on the ramp. Could very easily have gone differently.

Aircraft now listed on the site:

10 TBMs
P-51
F4U-7
FM-2
F8F
F-86
MiG-17
T-33
6 T-6/Harvard/SNJs
PT-17

Per a comment from Brad on Facebook, they're trying to limit the sterile ramp time on Friday, and they may be able to arrange a mass night run of TBMs as a photo op.

Anyone know what time this thing actually starts on Saturday? Seems like it was 10 a.m. last year. The website doesn't have any info and I found a Facebook event that says noon, but that doesn't sound right at all.
