Wow didn't realize we did not have a Nellis thread already! Thanks for starting it.

I'm going to do my best to make it this year, was going to go last year but then they canceled. It's looking like the girlfriend will join me for some time in Death Valley (and SWC) the week leading up to the show. I'm sure the canyon will be packed that week though.

Just noticed on the legacy flight website it lists Nellis having a Growler flying with a FJ-4

For you folks that have gone to Aviation Nation in the past, are the flying displays usually the same on both days? Or do they put together two full days of demonstrations?

Specter, the show is almost always exactly the same on both days...usually the only difference are different Aggressors fly, so you get to see a different selection of colors on the Vipers.

German Navy P-3 added to flying display however MV-22 has been removed. Static list hasnt changed however the 57th Wing Commander has confirmed that "ghost" will be on static.

Very interesting to see the German P-3 for sure. Hope it pans out. I was hoping the Ghost would fly, so I guess I better see if I can do some spotting in the days leading up to the show. Bummer on the Osprey.
