Yesterday was a great day for an airshow. Some great last minute additions with the P-40, B-25, and Old Crow. The only no shows were P-51 Swamp Fox with Old Crow taking it's place and the Berlin Airlift C-54. Thom Richard put on a very impressive display in his P-40 American Dream, he kept it low throughout. The paratrooper drop was great, three C-47s and a R4D dropped ~40 troopers over several passes. Just like in the war, one missed the LZ drifting into the trees outside the airport perimeter. There was a fairly stiff crosswind. It took a while to find him but he was OK.
As in the past, it was easy in easy out with parking on the ramp next to the hangars. Weather was perfect, blue skies a few clouds and temps in the mid 70s.

@BruceK GREAT pics, thank you!!! Wish the C-54 would have made it but still a very nice show. The paratrooper drop was AWESOME! Killer B was getting on the throttle for some of his shallow dives and Thom always does a phenomenal show in his P-40. The highlight for us by far was a ride on That's All Brother after the show. Glad you had a great time.
