Beauvechain Air Base Day, Belgium - 10th April

Beauvechain Air Base held an Open House style event at the beginning of the Easter school holidays to showcase the work of the Belgian Air Component (still popularly referred to as Belgian Air Force) and highlight military careers to the next generation. The event featured all of the Belgian Air Force Displays (F-16, A109 and the Red Devils) plus some interesting role demonstrations from 1 Wing. There were also some surprise internation guests with a Czech Air Force Mil Mi-24 and Mi-171 on static displays and a German Army Aviation NH90TTH joining the role demonstrations to highlight international cooperation.
