Here is some information I received from the organization yesterday:

"At this stage we cannot confirm which of the additional military visitors will do flypasts, and probably won't be certain until a week or so ahead. For certain it will be the two teams, a trio from Vintage Wings, and a team of Harvard IIs.
We will post more as we receive confirmation."

There will be two Typhoon's coming in, most likely from the States as mentioned earlier. I've been told they are scheduled to arrive Saturday afternoon. As for the Patrouille de France, they were supposed to arrive on Saturday afternoon but they've been moved to Sunday morning due to another event on their tour at NAS Norfolk, the NATO Tattoo Festival on April 28-29th.

Cheers,

Ernest G.

Hi,

My brother has two VIP tickets for the Sunday show and he is willing to sell them at a discounted price. We were planning to drive to the show from NY, but unfortunately we won't be able to make it. If anyone is interested, please contact me asap.

Thanks,

Jacek

The most recent update for the Air Show (roughly 9:30 AM local time using Facebook) is.

"There is no public access to the airfield on Saturday as we prepare for the Sunday show.

In the event of rain Sunday, the show is still on - performances will be modified to suit the weather conditions."

Wow, I guess I didn't realize it was only open on Sunday. That sucks!

As it stands right now 1 day is better than no event. Also having stayed up to date with the parking suggestions the fields we normally get to use are too soft so we're going to use on street parking that would already be in use by the local businesses etc. Most of those are closed for Sunday freeing up a lot of parking spaces close enough to run shuttle buses throughout the day. The big concern now is the forecast temp, which is going to be just a bit above freezing with a forecast of 5 or 6 degrees C as the high. Fingers will get very cold operating cameras if it's even a bit breezy. I just put gloves beside the Pelican cases I'm taking. Besides rain protection for my gear 1 may be used as a step to get me a bit higher so I can shoot over the crowd when needed.

I have listed the VIP tickets on ebay. Look for "Aero 150 VIP". The price is almost 70% off what we paid for them, you can also make an offer.

Thanks
