Tactical Weapons Meet 2017

On Thursday June 15 I attended the Tactical Weapons Meet, hosted by the 1st Squadron Stingers at Florennes Air Base, Belgium.
Exercise aircraft included Belgian F-16's, Polish MiG-29's, Greek F-4's, Italian and Spanish Typhoons and British Hawks. In between the morning and afternoon launches the organizers had some special guests arrive and perform. These included French Mirage 2000's, an Alpha Jet and more Belgian F-16's.
This was one of the most enjoyable events I have ever been to. Our location was very close to both the runway and taxiway and the sun was behind us for the entire day. The idea to have special guests flying while there was a break in the exercise was a terrific idea, only made better by the fact that most of these aircraft had special liveries.
