Might be an unpopular opinion here, but I think this is WAY cooler than the D-Day tribute. A-10s just look great in camo. I miss the Euro One schemes.

I agree, I think I like this one better than the old one. Sadly, rumor says that the other one will be back to gray very soonkalamazookid wrote: ↑Fri Feb 26, 2021 8:32 pm Might be an unpopular opinion here, but I think this is WAY cooler than the D-Day tribute. It's official. Capt. Haden "Gator" Fullam will be the A-10 demo pilot for 2021 and 2022.
Capt. Haden “Gator” Fullam is the new A-10 Thunderbolt II Demo Team commander and pilot. He will lead a team of professionals for the 2021 and 2022 season.
“It’s an honor and privilege to command this group of Airmen. The work the team does day-in and day-out is remarkable and shows the dedication and commitment we have to our mission, each other and everyone who will attend the shows.”

Hoping the demo team stops by SoCal sometime next year. Bit bummed still that the only SoCal Airshow they will be at will be performed in a unusual format this year.

Hello everyone, my name is Matt and I’m a new member. I hate to be “that guy,” but I’ve been trying to purchase tickets for the September 18th and 19th air show in Santa Rosa, CA but I can’t find where. Every time I click on the location it takes me to a different airport. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you.

Welcome! I just checked it out for myself and it appears the event web site is forwarded to the air museum site. They also haven't made any posts on their Facebook page in about a year. It looks like they haven't officially announced plans for the show yet, probably waiting to see how COVID and sponsorships play out. I would just keep an eye on it as once they announce the show they will probably open ticket sales as well.MattyTB12 wrote: ↑Fri Mar 12, 2021 8:05 pm Hello everyone, my name is Matt and I’m a new member. Still can't get over that Vietnam era paint scheme. I really hope I get to see it this year. Since 2022 will mark 50 years ago since the first flight of the A-10, how cool would it be if next year's demo jet featured a paint scheme similar to that of the prototype A-10 or see an A-10 painted up in a full Europe camouflage paint scheme.
