EAA Air Venture Oshkosh 2023
Another possible option is to stay at the university dorm rooms and take the shuttle from there. I have not done that but I believe it is relatively affordable.
The nearest 'normal' priced hotels are almost always Beaver Dam to the south or Green Bay to the north. Both are a bit over an hour away. Appleton will be ~300 a night for most rooms

I want to say they will come Tuesday. The webinar said that Tuesday is going to have just “Polaris group”, which I had to guess is their arrival.

If I remember right (which isn't often) I think it is 7 am. Trouble is the shuttles Trams don't start running till 8:00-8:30 depending when the volunteers can get the tractors out and hooked up to the trailers. So if you want to ride I would wait till 8 am.avravalleyaviation wrote: ↑Fri Jun 30, 2023 12:57 am What time do the gates open? I’ve seen some sources say 8 and some say 7.

So apparently there was another webinar last night hosted by the Commemorative Air Force. I haven’t seen it for myself but the one guy who apparently did said not much changed but did say the MiG 21 is coming Thursday and departing Sunday.
This is the only slide the guy in the facebook group for Oshkosh Attendees provided. Hopefully the CAF will post that webinar soon.
