Definitely static only. It is nowhere close to flight ready. I wish the museum would keep the Widow's Web page updated. There have been no new photo updates since 2017.

I really don't believe I'll be around when that thing actually takes flight.

Exciting late addition, MAM’s FM-2. This aircraft was a staple of the event in the early 2000s while it was still owned privately and based out of N57.
With respect to the P-61, significant progress has been made to the airframe over the past year. Keep in mind that because this aircraft is such a rare type, it takes significant time to accomplish major milestones with the project. What I can specifically report is that the .50 cal turret was fitted in late winter and looks great!

Awesome news about the FM-2! Looking forward to next weekend. This is my fifth year booking a hotel and the first time I'm actually going to be able to make it. This has been a bucket list show for me for a while. Should be arriving at the grounds early Friday afternoon and will be there Saturday and Sunday as well.

The roster of airshow aircraft can be found at the following link: https://www.maam.org/wwii/ww2_acft.htm. However, keep in mind that the roster is not completely updated since there will also be the D3A and B5N replicas, the FM-2, and MAAM's P2V (plus usually at least one unannounced fighter shows up).
The actual schedule of aerial performances and times is only published in the show's program. However, I have attended this show since 2007 and the lineup is usually as follows: L-Birds, Primary Trainers and Basic Trainers, Advanced Trainers (usually only T-6/SNJs), Kevin Russo's SNJ aerobatic demo, the Pacific Theatre (usually Navy aircraft and Japanese replicas), either before or after the Pacific the FG-1D will do an aerobatic demo, Liberty Jump Team (with the C-47), main European Battle in front of the crowd (mostly ground based with tanks, vehicles, and reenactors although some L-Birds sometimes fly during as well), Bombers and Transports, B-29 Fifi (gets its own performance), the P-51 and P-63 will do aerobatic demos, and finally the Fighters will perform several formation passes and then perform a missing man pass to close out the show.

I've been to several WWII Weekends over the last 25 years and the rough schedule that NEAirMuseums posted is roughly what they've done each and every year.
I'd love to go this year but we've already got plans to do non-airshow stuff. The lineup of aircraft looks okay but it's definitely missing a lot of key WWII Weekend attendees. Same for the WWII vets... actually I think a few who had been there the last couple years passed away recently.

Lots of arrivals trickling in this evening! MAM Wildcat, Duffy's B-25 "Take-off Time" and P-51 "Kwitcherbitchin", and a couple T-6s already in since the afternoon airshow concluded. Great start to the weekend!
