I know some shows would kill for this type of variety and I am not trying to sound like a snob, but the lineup just feels kind of MEH this year. Especially after the original announcement that included the B-1, F-35C team, F-15, F-35A flyovers, coast guard demo, etc. It also seems like more "Civilian Fluff" this year than usual. My guess is to fill the vacancies from the aforementioned military performers. What happened to Titan Aerobatic Team and Ace Maker airshows? Both had Louisville on their schedules. I have no issue with the civilian acts, but would rather see them focus on warbirds and vintage jets than flippies and float planes.
Still, definitely some stuff to get excited about as it appears at least 1 A-10 will be doing a flyover and we aren't going to see that airframe much longer at shows. Then you also have the MH-53, CF-18's, A-400, and E2's which are all not particularly common performers in the US accompanied with the Viper and Growler demo teams. Definitely looking forward to it and hopeful the weather works out as there still appears to be a lot of uncertainty with the Friday and Saturday forecasts.

Don’t forget the 747 flyby either. Hardly any shows get to see the queen gracing the skies at it.

Very true. I also forgot the B-52, which seems to only make it to a handful of US shows each year. Still a good lineup. I think I probably just set too high of expectations when the original lineup was posted. I should have known based on history that the original list and the finalized schedule always looks different.

What are the Legacy and Heritage flight planes? I do not see any warbirds listed.

Heritage is a mustang. Unsure which one. Legacy is a Corsair. Unsure also which one. Tobuls is down so if I had to guess it would be Horschel.

Yea could be if Paul Wood still is in the program. It’s not on Scooters schedule.kalamazookid wrote: ↑Tue Apr 16, 2024 12:41 am Could be the Warbird Heritage Foundation Corsair from Waukegan.
