Manfred Radius first began performing in air shows in 1985. During the subsequent 38 years, Radius has established himself as the premier sailplane performer in North America. He was the first sailplane pilot to perform an inverted ribbon cut over water, and has a well-deserved reputation for his elegant, ballet-like performances in his Salto sailplane.

Well deserved honor.
I've had the pleasure to meet Manfred at Willow Grove several times. Awesome guy.
Don't know if it's been reported but as of November 2023, I'm under the impression he's now retired from airshows.
