Hunter Association Obersimmental ground Hunter F58 'Papyrus'

Post by Flightline Uk » Mon Feb 12, 2024 12:23 pm

Today, the members of the Hunter Association Obersimmental were officially informed via letter that the famous Papyrus Hunter HB-RVS (ex J-4040) will never fly again.

The machine has been under annual inspection in Altenrhein since October 2022. Unfortunately, it is no longer possible to set up an entertainment business or. to be continued.

The Papyrus Hunter will be driven on the country road from Altenrhein to St. Stephen in mid-March, where he will be exhibited in the future.

The death of the UK classic jet scene is a popular complaint, but goodness we've had it easy compared to the Swiss.

From a thriving double-digit population of Vampires, Hunters and even a Mirage III just five years ago, to what? A single Vampire? A tragedy.
