F-35A Lightning II Demo Team for 2019
According to the ACC Aerial Events homepage, the F-35A Lightning II Demo Team is coming next year! The patch looks pretty sick!

Nice find, I don't think they meant to announce this until ICAS! I imagine we'll get an official confirmation then.

The ACC have quickly removed that patch from their website and the title for the F-35 page has been changed from "2019 F-35 Demo Page" to "2019 F-35 HF Page".
I also noted a change on the Schedule and Request panel: earlier today, one line of text read "2019 F-35 Demo/HF Flight Schedule". It has since been reworded to "2019 F-35 Flight Schedule".

The F-35 team relayed to us that they want it to be a big announcement at ICAS and asked us to remove our blog and social media posts until they make it official. I've left this thread intact because I didn't start it and the forums are made for speculation.Adam wrote: ↑Wed Nov 21, 2018 4:21 pm The ACC have quickly removed that patch from their website and the title for the F-35 page has been changed from "2019 F-35 Demo Page" to "2019 F-35 HF Page".

Their approach is pretty flawed though. If they had just announced it now, they'd be the biggest story for the next 2 weeks. Instead, they are going to get somewhat lost in a flood of schedules and other news (Blue Angel Super Hornet update?) during the convention. Insisting that it be kept under wraps has only diluted their message.
