Re: NORAD jets over Toronto tomorrow 4/27
They're doing low approaches right now at YYZ over rwy 06L No, they weren't. Both jets didn't go below FL200 at any time today, simply stayed in Toronto airspace and conducted their exercise. They went to CFB Trenton following their training, landed and have already returned to CFB Bagotville. OK N...

Re: NORAD jets over Toronto tomorrow 4/27
Thanks Dan. Would be interesting to know which fighters they're bringing to train along with the CF-18s. F-22s possibly, but F-35 not so likely.

Re: Canadian International Airshow 2018
I just wanna share a perspective of an airshow lover. I've been a long time CIAS goer. My fondest memories go back to the early 80's, with highlights being the aforementioned BA Concorde fly over, along with stars such as the SR-71 Blackbird, Luftwaffe Tornado, Royal Australian AF F-111 and the grea...

Re: Thunder of Niagara Airshow 2018
FYi - the spot you found is the laSalle Sportsman's Club's a shooting range, the hill is the backstop for the gun range - not a good spot! Your view would be pretty well blocked by the trees there anyway. Prevailing winds are out of the SW so usually traffic is on 28R so you want to be at the east ...

Re: Thunder of Niagara Airshow 2018
Anywhere off base to shoot practice on Friday? Hi, I did some sniffing around the internet, and found a possible spot that I thought you could get a pretty good view from without getting on base. It's West of show center just off of Porter Rd, go to the end of Tuscarora Rd there looks like a large ...
