Re: Girls Fly 2 2019
I would expect about the same amount of aircraft as lst year . It is the start of a new fiscal year for the US military so they are starting on their new budget.

Re: Abbotsford International Airshow 2019
They don't do many shows anymore. They were at Boundary Bay and I think that they will be at Chilliwack.
I am assuming that Huntington will be closed and everyone kicked out when the Tbirds practice.

Re: Abbotsford International Airshow 2019
A question for AIAS. With the lack of forest fires this year( so far) is it a possibility to have a Conair plane on static or flying? It has been a long long time since this has happened. Great work on the statics, looking forward to arrivals!! Highly unlikely. Almost of Conair's aircraft are deplo...

Re: Abbotsford International Airshow 2019
Here’s an old video I found uploaded by someone on YouTube from King Rd. It really speaks for itself. www.youtube.com/watch?v=pE-NLgBjhrM Wow, definitely something to think about. I'd love to get some head-on shots. How quickly do the road shoulders at the end of the runway fill with vehicles in th...

And stick around Sunday after the show. Any navy stuff usually leaves soon after the show. And any rescue type of aircraft will sometimes depart when the show is done.

Re: Abbotsford International Airshow 2019
Taken from the Legacy Flight thread. VFA-122 has been doing a dual Super Hornet Legacy program at all their shows thus far. Hopefully this holds true for Abbotsford. VFA-122 have also not been using their jets so far this season. They used Stinger jets at Gig Harbor so here's hoping those come to a...

Re: Abbotsford International Airshow 2019
Huntington's the best for photography. The sun is at your back for most of the day. You probably will get kicked out when the Thunderbirds fly, but can get back in when they are done. It isn't far to to walk from the terminal, probably 15 minutes.

Re: Patrouille Suisse Flies Over Wrong Event
Apparently a B 52 flew over Spokan International airport before he realized his mistake and then flew over Fairchild AFB.
