Event is on LaGuardia airport grounds.

With the Northeast lacking shows this year (no McGuire, no Barnes/Westover, no Andrews), Dover seems like a "Don't Miss" show this year for the people in the Northeast.

Lets see how Binghamton shapes up.

Looks like the 1st Fighter Wing will send an F-22 for static display.

Langley is just too close to not send a jet.

Maybe it is time to move the show back to the AC airport and charge admission like most private shows do now.

I would be more inclined to pay $20 or $30 if the show was on-site with statics, etc.

Admission would cover the costs.

This film was made by David Hoffman in 1981.

David Hoffman finally posted a better scan of "The Wing" on Youtube. (You can now select 1080 Hi Res; much better than the old posted version and DVD) I am sure most of you are familiar with this very nice 1981 documentary of the F-15 at Bitburg during the height of the Cold War. A classic!

The hotter and sunnier the weekend is . . . the more crowded it gets.

Remember, about 50% of the people are there for the beach and not the airshow.

Lets hope we do not get the 90 degrees we had in May 2022. Remember that?

Saturday was unbearable. People were dropping out all over the place on Saturday.

Sunday was a bit less humid, but still very hot.

May should not be that hot. One of the reasons they have the show in May.

Why can't the Casinos put up the $300K?

They have plenty of money and the show is good for their business.

F-16 probably from NJ 177 FW, but 20th FW might surprise us with a jet.

Hope the 1st FW sends an F-22 for Static. They've had either a static F-22 or F-22 Demo the past several years.
