Re: Civilian Hawker Hunter Crashed in Hawaii
Who the hell is training to fight Hawker Hunters anyways? A task force that's preparing to jump to 1958 through a wormhole? Hell, even the most backwards countries such as Zimbabwe or Laos will have a couple vastly superior (well, superior to the Hunter, that is) MiG-21Bis in their air forces. But i...

Re: Why do we rarely see bombers flying during air shows?
It looks like Trump was actually impressed by the French Bastille Day parade with its tanks and howitzers parading down the Champs-Elysées and started bringing out the big stuff! It's still hard to outdo Russia in terms of military parades, with its strategic bombers flying over all of the country's...

Re: 2019 USAF F-35A Demo Team Schedule
Have F-35 demos been planned outside of the USA? I'd be quite thrilled to see the white eleph... I mean, that masterpiece that we've been waiting for two decades flying in real life. As far as I know, the UK and a couple other Western European countries have received the first exemplaries, so why not?

Re: Dominicm's Radio-Controlled Aircraft Videos
The Spitfire is already an admirable beast, but the C-130 is impressive with its functionalities! The cargo door is remote-controlled, you say? Do you think it would be possible to do a low pass over a landing strip and drop a small tank model on there? It would be by far the most impressive feat I'...

Re: Warbird Down In Texas
I read about that in the news a couple days ago, it's truly a hard loss for the aviation world: a WW2 vet, an experienced pilot AND a beautiful and widely known warbird...Even those - both men and planes - who made it back after the war are still threatened by accidents and it's sad to see... We can...

Re: Airshow London 2019
So, how developed is that whole Brexit thing these days? I'll be in France next September, and I'm an EU citizen, so will I need a visa to go to this airshow, or will I be able to go to the UK with a simple ID card as I was able to up to now?
