Re: Reading Aerofest 2023

The weather held off on Saturday and it was a great first aviation festival at RDG. The USAF PA ANG 193rd SOW brought an EC-130J, MAAM had their SNJ-4 on display, and several locally based aircraft including a Falcon 900, B200 Super King Air, PC-12/45, a PA-28, and several Cessna 172s were on displa...

Re: Reading Aerofest 2023

Unfortunately the forecast looks unfavorable this Saturday. However, other static additions include a US Navy T-6B, US Army UH-60L, and a Bell 206/8.

Re: Reading Aerofest 2023

Latest update on the event, renamed the Reading Aviation Festival and Career Fair. Static displays include a C-17A and C-130 (likely an MC-130J). Additional static displays will include a PC-12 from Quest Diagnostics, a PA State Police Bell 407, and some other civilian aircraft. Other military stati...

Re: Atlantic City Airshow/Thunder Over the Boardwalk 2023

To be fair, some of the Philadelphia area spotting groups starting tracking the surprise yesterday on ADS-B Exchange and spread the news all over social media several hours before the posts here. Unfortunately with the prevalence of military aircraft on ADS-B Exchange it’s very difficult to keep thi...

Re: MAAM WWII Weekend 2023

Does someone have a screenshot of the schedule for this airshow? I cant seem to find a schedule anywhere. The roster of airshow aircraft can be found at the following link: https://www.maam.org/wwii/ww2_acft.htm . However, keep in mind that the roster is not completely updated since there will also...

This aircraft was a staple of the event in the early 2000s while it was still owned privately and based out of N57. With respect ...

Re: MAAM WWII Weekend 2023

About a month out. Aircraft list was updated over the weekend, but it looks like the only change is the official removal of "Yankee Lady." Still hoping for another fighter or two, maybe from AAM, MAM or the Duffy collection, but it might be kind of late for that. Definitely a good chance ...

Re: Airshow Announcer Howdy McCann, Jr. Passed Away

Extremely sad news. Howdy was (and probably will always remain) my favorite airshow announcer and I will sorely miss his voice at Schultz shows.
